Remove the splash window

Why is there a splash window?

When evaluating Web Screen Saver, a splash window advertising for this software is displayed in these circumstances:

• When the software is launched,
• At the end of the page loop.

Also, after 30 days, a reminder about registration is displayed on the top of each page.

These features are the only differences between the evaluation and the registered version. So every Web Screen Saver feature is included for evaluation.

Register software

To remove the splash window, you need to register Web Screen Saver.

Register Web Screen Saver online for $19.95 USD only.

When the Web Screen Saver registration process is completed, you will receive the registration information by email.

Enter registration information

Here is the procedure to type registration information into Web Screen Saver:

• Launch Web Screen Saver,
• Open the Configuration dialog box,
• Switch to the About tab,
• Click on the Register button,
• In the Register dialog box, type registration info EXACTLY as you received it by email. The best way to ensure that the info is correct is to copy/paste from your email into the dialog box,

• The label "Full version" should be displayed below registration info.
• Click OK.

Choose your home page

Now you need to define your own home page. This page can be one of these file types:

• A PowerPoint .PPS file,
• A movie file,
• A Flash .SWF file,
• Any web page that can be displayed by Internet Explorer.

• Launch Web Screen Saver,
• Open the Configuration dialog box,
• Switch to the General tab,
• Type the address of your home page,

• Now, you just need to check the "Use home page as splash window" option.

Once it is checked, the advertising splash screen is replaced by your home page.
