Exclude list
The Exclude tab in the Configuration dialog box is used to restrict navigation in web browser mode, or to automatically remove some URLs in screensaver mode. The exclude list holds all these restricted URLs. Restricted addresses in navigation modeEvery time the user types an address in the Navigation tool bar or clicks on a hyperlink, the resulting URL is matched with the exclude list shown on this tab. If the left part on the URL where the user wants to navigate to is included in the list, the navigation is canceled and the page is not displayed. In the other case, if the left part of the URL is not listed on this dialog box, the user gets that page on the screen. If the exclude list is empty, all addresses are allowed for web browsing. Restricted addresses in screensaver modeYou can also add some addresses in the Exclude list if you want to remove some pages from the automatic page loop. This loop is displayed in screensaver mode. Default exclusions are set in every new .wss configuration file. Content matching these filters is not displayed. This feature is useful if the page list is computed by the software (use of a value file in Page properties). You can select any element in the exclude list in order to define options with the second part of this tab. That part contains five buttons that you can use to edit, insert or delete addresses.
